Have you got what it takes to inspire a new generation of heroes?
When? September 2nd this year
What? Back To School Day

On this day, Public schools throughout Victoria will invite their past students Back To School to talk to the current students. What the day involves is totally up to you and the school. You could address an assembly or simply talk to a couple of kids that are interested in the same profession as yourself. It is your turn to inspire a new generation of heroes and show by your example that 'kids can do anything'. The current students of our government schools really want to hear from students that have gone on to tertiary education. Already you are heroes in their eyes.

Many public schools have lost contact with their ex-students, maybe you are one of them?.

The Education Foundation is supporting the day by attempting to reconnect ex-students to their old schools. We are an independent, not for profit organisation that funds innovative programs into government schools. We are very interested in hearing from students and graduates that went to a public school in Victoria and have a story to tell that will inspire our secondary and primary school students. If you are interested in being a Back To School Champion, you can either register online at http://www.educationfoundation.org.au/ or call Brigid O'Sullivan on 9665 5999.
